Hi
Ali replies: We appreciate your kind remarks, Lucy. The WiiVolve staff try their best to bring visitors the best pictures and information that one can find on the web. If you ever need any help, the Mail Bag is here waiting... Black is Slack?
Please, change your site theme back to your old one it looks much better.
Ali replies: What? You don't like the new look? We disagree. But we had prepared in case someone else didn't like it as much as us. So don't worry, we'll have the old one back as an optional theme soon for two reasons. Mainly to use it as a diagnostic for Internet Explorer users who want to see WiiVolve, it will also please those who just don't like the darker theme. Easy Peasie, Lemon Squeezie
I am a mother of a gamer who is very into the Wii system. Last week he purchased a new game for the system and this morning he told me he "aced" the game. Isn't it a little much to ask him to pay $50 USD for a game that can be completed in such a short amount of time? Are these games being dumbed down or are they just rip-offs designed to separate kids from their money?
Ali replies: Hey, Concerned Mom. Depending on the game you're referring to, there are two possibilities with the problem that you are facing right now. Either your son is an extremely talented gamer, or he bought WarioWare Smooth Moves. I'm guessing it's the second one. Assuming so, I'd have to say that the game is pretty simple to "ace". There isn't much to it, considering Nintendo created it with party/fun in mind. It is supposed to be fun and addicting, with multiplayer support only adding to that. In fact, even you could probably ace the game.

When will the demand for Nintendo Wii's go down, therefore allowing me to buy a wii, without having to get a crappy bundle?
Ali replies: Hi Suhayb. You're right about the demand: there is too much for Nintendo to handle. But if you're very eager to get your hands on a Wii as soon as you can, then I suggest you to go shopping this Sunday (January 21, 2007). Our sources have indicated that shipments will be arriving at all major retailers on Sunday, so it would be very smart to get in line early. Some stores that will be packing Wii consoles include Circuit City, Best Buy, and Target. Direct2Wiihey wiivolve i was just wondering what d2w is. i saw the ad 4 it on the front page and i just contacted u guys. can u plz elaborate on it?
Ali replies: Have you tried clicking on its banner? Everything should be explained on its main page. Here is another link to it in case you need it: Super Mario Platformers
Hi Wiivolve, can you tell me please which Mario platformers are planned for the Wii? Not interested in like brawl games or party games, just the platformers :)
Ali replies: Well, first of all I want to thank you for being the first person to send a Mail Bag submission. Thanks for giving us a start. Now onto the topic, there are quite a few platformers coming out for Wii, but none at launch unfortunately. Just to name a few, there are Super Mario Galaxy, Super Paper Mario, and Sonic and the Secret Rings. But since you're on the hunt for Super Mario games, a good bet would be to check out some Virtual Console titles. Some of greatest Mario games from the NES and the N64 are coming out for launch, such as Mario Bros. and Super Mario 64, so check the Game Database often if you want to find your pick. |
